Learn how to install and launch the GrowSpace mobile app, and get an overview of the landing (home) screen you’ll see when the app starts. This guide focuses on the first steps for users who want to run UWB ranging and RTLS-based indoor positioning tests using only a smartphone.
How to install the app
The GrowSpace mobile app is available for both Android and iOS. You can use the official test app to easily try and verify the main features of the SDK.
Main Screen Overview
When you launch the app, you’ll see the main screen shown below. Some menu items may vary depending on your device platform (Android or iOS).
Android App
Check azimuth, elevation This menu lets you test whether your smartphone can detect azimuth and elevation angles. ※ Some Android devices do not support angle detection. Use this menu to check compatibility.
Ranging Page Go to the page where you can measure the real-time distance to nearby Anchors and see the results visually.
RTLS Page Estimate the smartphone’s real-time position based on the coordinates of Anchors and display it on a 2D grid.
iOS App
Most iPhones (iPhone 11 or later) support azimuth and elevation by default. So, the Check azimuth, elevation menu is not shown. You can directly access the Ranging and RTLS features.

Note
On iOS devices, angle detection is built-in, so distance and position tracking features work immediately without additional tests.
On Android devices, support for angle detection may vary depending on device compatibility. Please verify this in advance if needed.
