Anchor Installation

This section explains how to set up a smartphone-based indoor positioning test using the GrowSpace Mobile Kit. You don’t need a separate Tag—the test runs using only your smartphone. The process follows these steps: install Anchors → launch the app → check the position.
Before You Start
Hardware
UWB-supported smartphone
Recommended: Galaxy S21 or later, iPhone 11 or later ※ Some Galaxy S24+ models do not support angle data

3 mobile Anchors (N1-AN-Q1)
Requires USB Type-C power supply

Each Anchor requires individual power
How to Install Anchors
The GrowSpace Mobile Kit allows RTLS positioning tests using only 3 Anchors. To ensure accuracy, follow the placement guidelines below when installing Anchors.
Anchor Placement Guidelines
Shape: Place Anchors in a triangle, evenly spaced
Distance: Keep about 6–8 meters between each Anchor
Location: Choose spots with clear line-of-sight—avoid walls, pillars, or obstructions
Height: Place Anchors about 1.5 to 2 meters above the ground
Before installing, consider the space layout and power source location to plan Anchor placement in advance.
Power Supply
Connect power to each Anchor using the USB Type-C port.
When powered correctly, the Anchor’s LED will turn on and it will automatically enter standby mode.
