RTLS Positioning (RTLS Page)
The RTLS Page in the GrowSpace mobile app estimates the smartphone’s current position in real time based on the coordinates of installed Anchors. Using trilateration, the device's location is displayed on a 2D grid within the indoor space.
Before You Start
Number of Anchors
You need to install at least 3 Anchors
Anchor Distance
Recommended spacing: 6–8 meters between Anchors
Coordinate Input
Enter the X, Y, Z coordinates of each Anchor in advance
Smartphone
A device that supports UWB (e.g., iPhone 11+, Galaxy S21+ and later)
Screen Layout

UWB Device Positioning
Set grid size (vertical and horizontal) based on Anchor positions
Grid Display (Position View)
Shows user location as “My Position” and Anchors as BLE names (e.g., FGU-000x)
Real-time Distance Info
Displays real-time distance (in meters) from each Anchor
Buttons
Start or stop location check, control measurement
All distances are shown in meters (m), and the origin point is at the top-left (0,0) of the grid.
Usage Instructions
Enter Anchor Coordinates
Go to the BLE Scan page and enter the (X, Y) coordinates for each device based on its actual position.
Coordinates are based on meters (m), and the origin point of the space is (0,0).
Press the [Save] button to complete the registration.
Set Grid Size
Go to the RTLS Page and set the width and height of the space (in meters).
Example: If width = 4 m and height = 3 m → the grid is generated as 4 × 3.
Start Positioning
Tap the Start Location Check button. Positioning begins based on the distance from nearby Anchors.
Your position will appear as a dot in the center of the grid and will update in real time as you move.

→ As shown above, place 4 Anchors in a rectangular layout. If the grid size is set to 4×3, the device location will be calculated and displayed accordingly.
Test Tips
If real-time location appears unstable or incorrect, check the following:
Less than 3 Anchors connected
Z coordinate is missing or incorrect
Obstacles or metal interference in the area
Set the number of grid cells (vertical × horizontal) based on the space size. (e.g., 3×4, 5×5)
